Silver water jug
on a tripod scrolled base with acanthus leaf attachments. The underside of the base reveals rich ornamentation: in the center, a spiral of oak leaves, encircled by a frieze of pearls, from which blooms a radiant décor of foliage arranged in two rows. The body is decorated in relief with a falling spray, topped by a frieze of twisted gadroons standing out against an amati background.
The horn handle imitates a tree trunk decorated with oak leaves, and is extended by a clasp decorated with leaves and acorns attached to the body.
